Gunnar Olavson (1599-Sk.1676) had lived at Midjås 5 and Underdal 6 before he came to Felland. He was married to Hege Steffensdotter S.Felland 7b and had with her 2 tnK at the farm. It was Margit Åse and Folke Rygnestad in Valle who owned the rest. Probate was held after Hege died in 1656, and the children petitioned their father in 1670 for a rightful inheritance. The land property was 1 tn 4 mK at S.Felland and ½ kvart tn 1 notK at Tveiten. There were 22 rd for each brother in personal property and 11 rd for the sisters. They had not received the money from their father in full. It was decided that Gunnar should pay the indebtedness and his part of all land property to the children. He had no right to one-half, as his land property ownership was not included in the probate. Gunnar Olavson found himself a new wife after Hege died. She was named Guri Såvisdotter Midjås 6d and was the widow of Bjørn Kjetilson Bilstad 5. Gunnar died about 1676 and probate was held. There was then 1 tn 2 mK at S.Felland and 3½ quarter tnK at Reindal. The personal property was worth 87 rd.

The widow Guri Såvisdotter moved to Reindal 9 after her husband died. Probate was handled from over there in 1686. She still was living, but was aged. The allodial property was ½ tnK in Reini and 1 quarter tnK in Midjås that her children inherited from the two marriages. After Gunnar and Guri died the farm was divided into smaller farms.

Through writings from the 1615 allodial land book there was a Gunnar Midjås who had 1 tn 1 mK at Dalen in Tokkedalen. This was Gunnar Olavson who later lived at Underdal 6 and S. Felland 8.

In 1617 Olvar Lauvvik and his son Roald Bergland traded away N.Midjås with the meadows and the deserted farms Tveiten, Lille Tveiten, Haugestøyl, Rugdeli and deserted Rykkeli to Såvi Midjås in return for 7 markebol at Hægeland, Vrådal. Såvi had earlier lived at Underdal 4 and had probably traded a farm with Gunnar. There was also a Såvi Tveiten 3 who had ½ tnK at Reindal in 1615.

The name of Såvi's father is not mentioned in those sources, but inheritance of Hægeland and farm name creates little doubt that he was a son of Luttan Knutson who is mentioned under Underdal 1. Where Luttan lived is not known.

After the trade in 1617 Såvi and his heirs had the entire farm as allodial property. He was a church warden in the period 1624 to 1626 but was missing from the sources during 1640, and in the 1647 matrikkelen [tax rolls] he is the heir who had the farm. His wife was probably dead, for it seems that Såvi used Lofthus under Bakken 1 some years after that time. Probate was held after he died as late as 1686. The allodial property by that time was Midjås including Tveiten 2 tn 2 mK and Reini 7½ quarter tnK.

The 1624 matrikkelen [tax rolls] names Gunnar Underdal with his sister. They had 1 tnK at Underdal and 4 mK at Reindal and alone he had 1 tnK at Dalen in Eidsborg and earlier had been mentioned at N.Midjås 5. Gunnar was Gunnar Olavson who later lived at S. Felland 8. One of his sisters was named Kari Olavsdtr and was married to Sveinung Torson.

Bjørn Kjetilson Bilstad 3b was a soldier in 1642. Otherwise he is not mentioned, but from other sources we know that he was married to Guri Såvisdtr Midjås 6d. He died early and Guri was married again before 1647 to Gunnar Olavson S. Felland 8.

The farm was divided in two about 1661. We got from that a southern and a northern part.

Guri Såvisdtr S. Felland 8 was a tenant farmer for some years. There was a probate held in 1686, after she died, but that is discussed under S.Felland.
